
PADUCAH – In the first inning against McCracken County, the Marshals loaded the bases on an error, Jackson Beal single and walk by Lucas Forsythe with two outs, but left the base runners stranded with the third out in their 7-0 loss to the Mustangs Tuesday.

McCracken County scored one run in the bottom of the first inning on a single by Trent Shelby, then two more runs scored for the Mustangs in the second inning with two on and no outs, scoring on fly outs by Rook Ellington and Daniel Myatt for a 3-0 lead.
McCracken County’s four run third inning was the last of the scoring in the game, picking them up on a double by Mason Vineyard, Waldon was hit by a pitch and a two run single by Ellington.
Blaine Bizzle, in for Skylar Brown who worked the first three innings, got the Marshals out of a bases loaded bottom of the fifth, striking Myatt out swinging. Two runners were left stranding in the Marshals sixth inning at the plate and two more in the seventh. The winning pitcher was Caleb Reinhardt who went six innings, allowing three hits, no runs, striking out six and walking one.
This game has now been cancelled due to a weather cancellation today between the Cardinals and Toronto making tomorrow a double-header. The Marshals will play at Busch Stadium on Thursday following the Cardinals vs Blue Jays game at 12:45.
