Mrs. Luenell Ross, 99 of Paducah, Kentucky passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at Superior Care Home in Paducah, KY. She was a retired seamstress for the National Store in Benton, KY and was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. Born Monday, September 17, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Herman Henson and the late Pearl (Gregory) Henson. She was the wife of the late Luke E. Ross. Surviving are son, Dr. Luke D. Ross, M.D, wife Anita of Paducah, KY, grandchildren Lucas L. Ross of Paducah, KY, Katherine Ross of Paducah, KY, Dr. Charles B. Ross, wife Kimberly of Atlanta, GA, Gary Ross of Benton, KY, and Michael Ross of Benton, KY, great grandchildren Tiffany Cobb of Benton, Ky, Margaret Ross, Julia Ross and William Ross of Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Jerry Don Ross, brothers, Lander Henson , Elroy Henson, Toy Ray Henson, Windford Henson and Leron Henson, sisters, Lorene Henson and Charlene Rose. There is no public visitation scheduled for Mrs. Ross. A Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens located at Hwy U.S. 641 North Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Joel Frizzell officiating. Collier Funeral Home 211 W. 5th St. Benton, KY is handling all arrangements.
