Fairdealing-Olive and Lowes Fire Departments burglarized

sheriffOn 07/03/2016 the Fairdealing Olive Fire Department was burglarized and over $6,000 worth of equipment was stolen.  On 07/19/2016 the Lowes Fire Department in Graves County was also burglarized and over $9,000 worth of equipment was stolen.  The Graves County Sheriff’s Office received a tip, which lead to joint investigation with Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Graves County Sheriff’s Office, and the Elizabethtown Police Department.

Screenshot (3)All three agencies were able to make cases against Henry Shuford of Elizabethtown.  Deputy Burnett of the Graves County Sheriff’s Office charged Shuford with burglary, Officer Hendrix of Elizabethtown Police Department charged receiving stolen property, and Detective Lieutenant Matt Hilbrecht of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office charged Shuford with burglary third degree and theft by unlawful taking over $500.  Detective Lieutenant Hilbrecht also filed charges on Shuford’s accomplice Ryan Underwood of Radcliff, KY for complicity to burglary.  The warrant on Underwood is still pending service at this time.
