Mrs. Dorris Ruth "Mombabe" Knick, age 75 of Fancy Farm, KY died on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. Born Saturday, June 28, 1941 in Memphis, TN, she was a homemaker and member of the Potter's House Baptist Worship Center. Mrs. Knick is survived by her husband, Wilbur "Roy" Knick of Grand Rivers, KY, sons, Robert Mathis of Fancy Farm, KY, Donald Moore of Grand Rivers, KY, David E. Moore of Bellville, IL and John Moore of Hardin, KY, daughters, Debra Blaisdell of Grand Rivers, KY, Mary Ward of Fenton, MO, Amanda Moore of Benton, KY and Brianna Moore of Hardin, KY; 23 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and dog Chi-Chi. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Maplelawn Cemetery, Paducah, KY with Dr. Brad Henson officiating. Inturnment will follow. Visitation will be held between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
