Mr. Melvin Brent 'Fly' Etheridge, age 61 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. He was a member of Hardin Baptist Church and was a Manager at Autozone. Born Thursday, March 17, 1955 in Murray, KY, he was the son of the late Orvil Etheridge and the late Annie Fay (Hutchins) Etheridge. Surviving are his wife, Becky (Wilkins) Etheridge of Benton KY, sons, Brent Etheridge of Benton, KY and Brock Etheridge of Benton, KY, brother, Bobby Etheridge of Almo, KY, and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry "Bugle" Etheridge. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Aubert Rose and Ralph Austin officiating. Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery, Benton, KY. Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
