Lady Eagles Fall to Carlisle County 64-19

(BARDWELL, Ky.) — The Christian Fellowship Lady Eagles were defeated by Carlisle County 64-19 on Tuesday night in a challenging matchup.

The Lady Eagles finished with seven field goals on 33 attempts for a 21.2% shooting percentage. They connected on three of 11 three-point attempts for 27.3% from beyond the arc and made two of seven free throws.

Sophomore Kylee Hines led Christian Fellowship with seven points, going 1-for-17 from the field and converting two of seven free throw attempts. She also pulled down three rebounds.

Junior Bekah Wright contributed five points on 2-for-4 shooting from two-point range and added a three-pointer. Junior Kyndal Owen chipped in four points and led the team with four rebounds.

Sophomore Meleah Grigg scored three points, finishing 1-for-7 from the field. Seventh-grader Linley Walker rounded out the scoring with two points.

The Lady Eagles collected 15 rebounds as a team. Trinity Carrigan grabbed two rebounds off the bench, while Michaela Wyatt, Abby Grigg, Pearl Dumas and Anna Craig also saw playing time.

CFS will travel to CCA on Friday night for a girl/boy doubleheader with the girls to tip off at 6 p.m.
