(BOWLING GREEN/LEXINGTON, Ky.) — Marshall County’s basketball teams will split locations this weekend as both squads compete in holiday tournaments across the Commonwealth.
The Lady Marshals will travel to Bowling Green to participate in the FirstBank Holiday Bash at South Warren High School. Their tournament schedule begins Saturday, with a 1:30 p.m. matchup against Owensboro, followed by a 6:00 p.m. game against Franklin-Simpson.
Meanwhile, the Marshals will compete in the White, Greer and Maggard Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic, facing North Laurel at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
WCBL Sports will provide live coverage of the Lady Marshals’ afternoon game against Owensboro and the Marshals’ evening contest against North Laurel. Score updates will be available from the Lady Marshals’ 6:00 p.m. game against Franklin-Simpson.
Tournament action continues Sunday as South Warren hosts the Lady Marshals at 1:00 p.m. in the FirstBank Holiday Bash. WCBL Sports will air that game live. The Marshals’ Sunday game time will be determined by Saturday’s result—a 2:00 p.m. tip-off follows a loss, while a victory means a 7:30 p.m. start time. The earlier game will be joined in progress following Lady Marshals coverage, while the later game will air live.
Both teams will return to action Monday at their respective tournament sites, with game times to be announced.
