(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.)-Marshall County Technical Center has selected Leah Beth as its next principal, effective January 1, 2026. Beth will succeed Brian Harper, who is retiring after leading the institution.
Beth currently serves as assistant principal at Marshall County High School and brings two decades of education experience to her new role. Her career has included positions as both a business teacher and special education teacher before moving into school administration.
The incoming principal said her educational philosophy aligns naturally with the technical center’s mission.
“Words cannot express how grateful I am for this opportunity to work with such amazing faculty and staff,” Beth said in a statement. “I appreciate the hard work Mr. Harper and the faculty have put in to make our technical center one of the very best in the state.”
Beth emphasized her vision for the school’s future, noting that she looks forward to “working in an environment where learning goes beyond the classroom—skills are built, passions discovered, and futures forged.”
A core component of her educational approach centers on ensuring every student develops a post-graduation plan, making the technical center position what she described as an ideal fit.
Beth has been married to her husband, Aaron, for 21 years. The couple has three children: Trinity, Fisher, and Ella.
