Paducah Man Arrested After Domestic Disturbance, Firearm Threat in Reidland

(REIDLAND, Ky.) — A 21-year-old Paducah man faces multiple charges, including felonies, following a domestic disturbance in the Fisher Road area of Reidland where he allegedly brandished an AR-style pistol and made threats against two victims.

Deputies from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence for a complaint of a disturbance involving a firearm. Upon arrival, they encountered a male and female who reported being involved in a verbal altercation.

During interviews with the victims, deputies discovered multiple offenses had occurred. The female victim disclosed she had been previously assaulted by the suspect. Investigators also determined that on the day of the incident, the suspect had engaged in a verbal altercation with a male victim and brandished an AR pistol-type rifle while making threats to harm him, pointing the weapon in his direction.

Brian Liverman, 21, of Paducah, was taken into custody without incident. Deputies seized multiple firearms and drug paraphernalia from the scene.

Liverman was transported to the McCracken County Jail. While deputies were serving an Emergency Protection Order on Liverman at the facility, he allegedly made statements consistent with causing serious physical injury or death to the female victim, resulting in an additional charge of Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree.

Liverman faces the following charges:

  • Strangulation 1st Degree (Domestic Violence Related) – Class C Felony
  • Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree – Class D Felony
  • Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree – Class A Misdemeanor
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Class A Misdemeanor
  • Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree – Class B Misdemeanor
  • Menacing – Class B Misdemeanor
  • Possession of Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor
