(PADUCAH, Ky.)-The Marshall County Lady Marshals volleyball team traveled to the Paducah Convention Center for the Quad State 2025 tournament, where they competed in five challenging matches over two days.

The Lady Marshals opened strong on Friday, September 19th, securing a convincing 2-0 victory over University Heights with set scores of 25-21 and 25-22. However, their momentum was halted later that day when they fell to Warren East in straight sets, losing 0-2 with scores of 18-25 and 21-25.
Saturday brought a mixed bag of results for Marshall County. They faced Logan County twice during the tournament, with both matches going the distance. In their first encounter with Logan County, the Lady Marshals fought hard but ultimately fell 1-2, losing the opening set 19-25 before rallying to win the second set 25-21, only to drop the decisive third set 11-15.
The team bounced back with authority against Christian County, dominating in a 2-0 victory with commanding set scores of 25-22 and 25-13. .
Unfortunately, Marshall County’s tournament concluded with another hard-fought three-set battle against Logan County. Despite pushing the match to its limit, they were unable to secure the victory, falling 1-2 with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, and 14-16 in a thrilling final set.
