(BENTON, Ky.) — The Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce has kicked off an ambitious new leadership development initiative while continuing to expand its professional development offerings for the local business community.

The Chamber recently launched its latest Leadership Class with a comprehensive retreat led by Dr. Landon Clark from Murray State University. The program began with an intensive focus on leadership dynamics before participants traveled to Dawson Springs’ 4-H Camp for team-building activities designed to foster both personal growth and group cohesion.

“Leadership class participants not only got to fellowship and know one another better through team building activities, they learned about themselves,” according to chamber officials. The program’s next session is scheduled for September 16, where participants will explore tourism opportunities in the region.

AI Workshop Draws Strong Attendance

In addition to the leadership program, the Chamber hosted a successful “Table Talk – Knowledge at Noon” series focusing on artificial intelligence applications in business. The workshop, led by Mike and his team from DEVsource Technology Solutions, provided attendees with practical insights into workplace AI implementation while offering a complimentary lunch.

The session was part of the Chamber’s ongoing professional development series designed to keep local businesses current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
