The all-you-can-eat buffet is priced at $8 per person, with proceeds supporting the organization’s community outreach efforts. Oak Level Cemetery Fundraiser Features Traditional Fish Fry

Pet Blessing Event Combines Faith and Animal Welfare

(Calvert City, Ky.)-Calvert City United Methodist Church will host “Bless the Pet Day” on Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to noon. The unique event offers blessings and certificates for beloved pets while supporting animal welfare in Marshall County.

Church organizers have partnered with the Marshall County Humane Society for the event, accepting donations to help care for animals awaiting adoption. A Humane Society representative will be present to discuss volunteer opportunities and answer questions about local animal welfare efforts.

Class of 1970 Plans 55th Reunion Celebration

(Aurora, Ky.)-South Marshall High School’s Class of 1970 will gather for their 55th reunion at The Pond Restaurant in Aurora on Saturday, September 27, starting at 5 p.m. Reunion organizer Lois Cunningham is reaching out to classmates and encouraging anyone with connections to the graduating class to help spread the word about the milestone celebration.
