(MURRAY, Ky.) — The Marshall County Lady Marshals earned a convincing 2-0 victory over the Murray High Lady Tigers in Tuesday night’s road matchup, with goalkeeper Savannah Dodd recording a clean sheet to help secure the win.

The first half saw both teams struggle to find the back of the net, with neither side able to capitalize on scoring opportunities in a defensive battle that remained scoreless at the break.

The Lady Marshals broke the deadlock in the second half, finding their offensive rhythm to put two goals past the Murray High defense. Dodd’s stellar performance in goal ensured Marshall County maintained their advantage, as she turned away every Murray High attempt to preserve the shutout.

The victory improves Marshall County’s record to 6-1-1 as they continue their campaign, while Murray High now at 4-2 will look to bounce back from the home loss in their next match.
