Lady Marshals Claim Third at Barren County Invitational

(GLASGOW, Ky.)-The Marshall County Lady Marshals golf team delivered a strong performance at Saturday’s Barren County Trojanettes Invitational, held at the Old Willow Oaks Golf Course. The team secured third place with a combined score of 316.

Leading the charge for Marshall County was Trinity Beth, whose exceptional round of 69 earned her second place individually. Beth’s stellar performance included four birdies throughout the day, highlighting her consistent play on the challenging course.

The Lady Marshals’ depth was evident in their remaining scores. Brooklyn Cunningham contributed an 82 to tie for 16th place, while Kelli Roberts followed closely with an 83, good for a tie for 19th. CeCelia Ray rounded out the scoring with an 85, placing her in a tie for 21st position.  Charlee Murphy had a 90 that left her tied for 34th place in the field.

The third-place finish represents a solid team effort for Marshall County, with Beth’s individual runner-up performance serving as the tournament highlight for the Lady Marshals.
