Billy “Doyle” O’Bryan, 82 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at home in Benton, Kentucky.
Born Monday, September 28, 1942, he was the son of the late Jesse O’Bryan and the late Deelie McCoy O’Bryan. Doyle was a 55 years member of the Alford-Hardin # 925 Masonic Lodge F. & A. M. He was Past Master of Alford-Hardin # 925 and Past Master of Dycusburg # 232 as well.
Surviving are son, Jerry O’Bryan (Terry Ann) of Hardin, KY, daughter, Shelia Wadsworth of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Jeremy O’Bryan (Brittany), Alesha James (Michael) and Jessica Stone (Stephen); great grandchildren, Rylee James, Jessi James, Audrey O’Bryan, Brooklyn McLeod, Braylee Copeland, Trace Johnson and Luke Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lena Marie (Lewis) O’Bryan by brothers, J. W. O’Bryan, Willard O’Bryan and Newman O’Bryan, sisters, Hattie Forsythe, Virginia Fralicx, Edna Campbell and Joyce Jewell and grandson Jordan Wadsworth.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Phillips officiating. Masonic Rites will be held at 12:00 PM before the funeral service.
Burial will be on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Dycusburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Collier Funeral Home and Cremation Services located at 211 West 5th Street Benton, KY 42025. 270-527-3141.
