
(CALLOWAY Co., KY)-On July 11, 2025, at approximately 7:00 pm, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 94 East. Based on reasonable suspicion that the vehicle contained illicit drugs, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit was deployed to perform an open-air sniff around the vehicle. The K9 positively alerted to the presence of narcotics.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of over 30 grams of cocaine,
along with a substantial amount of cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug
activity. The individual was taken into custody and transported to the Calloway County
Detention Facility.
