She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and a retired employee of Save-A-Lot in Mayfield.
Mrs. Lamb is survived by her husband, J.B. Lamb; one son, John Lamb of Sedalia, KY; one daughter, Beverly Lamb of Sedalia, KY; one brother, Teddy (Phyllis) Ballew of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Carolyn (Richard) Shelton of Mayfield, KY and Charlotte Moyers of Hickory, KY; two sisters-in-law, Linda Lamb and Darlene Lamb Rogers both of Mayfield, KY; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William Ballew and her parents, William “W.C.” and Christine Guthrie Ballew.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fay Ballew Lamb will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Keith Allred will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Lamb, Chris Lamb, Brad Shelton, Calvin Moyers III, Adam Rogers and Steve Lamb. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Wayne Rogers, Jimmy Hawkins, Jerry Miller and Larry Miller.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
