Judy Smiley 66 of Paducah passed away Friday April 25, 2025 at Stone Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah.
Judy enjoyed concerts, bowling and traveling with her family, and going to Florida with her best girlfriend, Darla. She was passionate about her family. Mom, JudyBooty, Aunt Judy and Nana were her favorite titles. You could always find her on the dance floor every chance she had, or a beach working on her tan. Every summer you could find her camping by the lake with her husband Danny. She worked at Reidland Clothing for many years but took the most pride in raising her daughters and being Nana. Known by many for having the biggest smile and being the sweetest person.
She is survived by husband of 42 years, Danny Smiley of Paducah. Two daughters, Tiffany Smiley of Paducah and Brittany (Shane) Smiley of Eddyville. One brother, Jack (Shirley) Porter of Paducah. One sister, Barbara Porter of Detroit Mi. Grandchildren, Laci Vandergriff and Alexis Smiley. Nieces, Wendy (Paul) Lance and Rachel Landon, nephews Courtney (Lisa) Porter and Danny Porter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Royce Earle and Betty Mae Porter. Paternal grandparents, Burley and Connie Porter. Daughter, Natasha Boss. Two brothers, Jimmy and Johnny Porter and sister, Cheryl Landon.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday May 1, 2025 at Lindsey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday May 2, 2025 at Lindsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Rocky Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Mayfield Memorial Gardens.
