Ms. Ilene L. Bryson, age 89 of Almo, KY died on Monday, March 28, 2016, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky. She was a retired fragrance sales representative. Born Friday, December 3, 1926 in Escanaba, MI, she was the daughter of the late John Provo and the late Margaret May (Johnson) Provo. Surviving is her spouse, Donnie Parker of Almo, KY, sons, John Gowing of Sterling Heights, MI, Danny Gowing of Sterling Heights, MI and Timothy Gowing of Sterling Heights, MI, brothers, Floyd Provo of Florida and Dan Provo of Escanaba, MI, sisters, Doris Dann of Sterling Heights, MI and Grace Palkowski of Sterling Heights, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Guy Gowing, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2016 at New Zion Cemetery located at 2796 Wadesboro Rd. South Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Ricky Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow. Friends may visit with the family after 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016. Arrangements have been entrusted to Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
