She was a member of Seven Oaks Church of Christ, a member of KY Teachers Association, a cheerleading sponsor for 20 years, and a retired schoolteacher with Mayfield Independent School System for 35 years.
Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband, Jerry Bell; one son, Adam (Megan) Bell of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Amy (Jarrod) Coulson of Mayfield, KY; two brothers, Keith (Samantha) Pyle of Nashville, TN and Chris (Donnitta) Pyle of Mayfield, KY; and nine grandchildren, Nicholas Bell, Evan Bell, Eli Bell, Joseph Bell, Elizabeth Bell, Andrew Bell, Belle Coulson, Tyler Coulson and Addy Coulson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Jackie Ford Pyle.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kay Bell will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Mykel Tidwell will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Pyle, Chris Pyle, Nicholas Bell, Evan Bell, Eli Bell, Joseph Bell and Belle Coulson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Coulson, Addy Coulson, Andrew Bell and Elizabeth Bell.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the funeral home.
