Loura Marie Kern, of Arlington, passed away at her home on January 25, 2025, at the age of 68. Loura was born on November 8, 1956, in Detroit, MI, to the late Brain Greely and Janice Wagner.
A woman of diverse passions, Loura’s life was enriched by her extensive travels, where she often added unique cups and teacups to her beloved collection. An avid conversationalist, she could often be found recounting tales of her journeys. Laura took great pride in her genealogical roots and loved discussing her well-researched family tree. No stranger to the digital realm, she was an enthusiastic gamer, finding challenge in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. However, her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by her sons and grandchildren.
Loura is survived by her husband of 21 years, Michael Kern, of Arlington; her sons, Michael Tuthill, Kevin Good, Shea Layow, Gary Layow, and Cody Elliott; her brother, Matthew Fleming; and her cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
