He was a retired employee of General Tire and Rubber Company.
Mr. Etheridge is survived by one son, Tommy (Joyce) Etheridge of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Patricia Ann Etheridge (Jim) Prince of Hickory, KY; one brother, Harold Lee Etheridge of Humboldt, TN; two grandchildren, Brian Prince and Tana Futrell; five great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes R. Morgan Etheridge; his second wife, Joann Chilcutt; one sister; one brother; and his parents, Thomas Milton and Lessie Mae Shelton Etheridge.
Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Shelton Etheridge, Sr. will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Trent Bullock will officiate. Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Austin, Kim Wilson, Billy Dick, Tanner Roberts, Terry Harrell and Gabe Spalding. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Futrell, Owen Futrell and Nick Futrell.
Visitation will be 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
