Nancy Belle Walker, 73, of Murray, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at her home.
Born on April 11, 1951 in Cairo, IL, Nancy was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin “Frank” Walker, Sr. and the late Sarah “Virginia” Lee Walker. She graduated from Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in education, working for many years as a substitute teacher. Nancy was also an artist, an aspiring author and a devoted Christian.
Those left to cherish memories of Nancy include her daughter, Erin Lee Hornberger and granddaughter, Sarah Cheyenne Chaney Oliver, both of Murray, KY.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Jo Mills Chaney, and a brother Charles “Charlie” Franklin Walker, Jr.
There will be no public services held at this time. Inurnment will take place at a later date, in the Old Bardwell Cemetery, Bardwell, KY.
