Jerry R. Humes, age 87, of Mayfield, KY passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the Calvert City Health and Rehab.
He retired after 30 years from Liberty Savings Bank, and was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Mayfield.
Jerry is survived by one son, Gary (Jane) Humes of Fort Atkinson, WI; one daughter, Terri Humes of Paducah, KY; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverley Evans Humes; one brother, Gary Humes; one sister, Betty Henry; his parents were Orval and Louina Hurt Humes.
A memorial visitation for Jerry R. Humes will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to; Mayfield Graves County Animal Shelter, 500 N. 12th St., Mayfield, KY 42066.
