John A. Miller, 83 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at his residence.
John was born in Chandler, Indiana on March 21, 1941 to the late Clifford Miller and Bernice Phipps Miller. He served our country in the United States Army for over 30 years before retiring. John enjoyed playing solitaire, trains and was a member of the Model Railroad Club.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gudrun Hohmann Miller; son, Pete Miller of Benton; daughter, Marie Miller (Kathy Smith) of Vancouver, Washington; brother, Everett Miller of Florida; sister, Gladys Gifford of Martinsville, Indiana; six grandchildren, Chance John Miller, Madelyn Marie Miller, Abigail Leighann Miller, Jonathan Russell, Jacob Russell and Austin Gipson; and one great-grandchild, Ivy Foxx.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Clark and Elsie Christian; and his parents.
No services are scheduled at this time.
