
Amber Shelley signed her letter-of-intent at Christian Fellowship School on Monday to play basketball at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Ky. Amber made history by becoming the first CFS female athlete to sign a scholarship in any sport.
KCU is a member of the NCCAA, Division II level and a member of the Mid-East Region. On Saturday the Lady Knights earned a spot in the NCCAA II National Women’s Basketball Tournament, March 10-12, with their 65-53 win over Johnson University, Tn. The Lady Knights finished their regular season 19-10 under Head Coach Ron Arnett in his 25th year at KCU.
At CFS in her five years as a Lady Eagle, Amber played in 71 games, scoring 845 points for an average of 11.9 points per game. She made 79 3-pointers, 170/358 in free throws for 47.5%, had 280 rebounds and 86 assists.
Amber plans to have a double major in Biology and Bible while at KCU.
