Paula Gwen Mimms, age 82, of Benton, KY, died Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. Mrs. Mimms was a homemaker and was a member of Hardin Church of Christ.
She was the daughter of the late Paul Cole and the late Shirley (Washam) Cole. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Joe Boyd Mimms; and one son: Bruce Joseph Mimms.
She is survived by one son: Lee Mimms of Madison, AL; and three grandchildren: Jake Ryan, Cody Reed, and Logan Garrett.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2016. Graveside funeral service will be at Edwards Cemetery at 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2016, with James Stom officiating. Interment will be at Edwards Cemetery, Benton, KY.
