Mrs. Vera Pearl Reeder, age 87 of Benton, Kentucky died on Wednesday, February 24,
2016, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, Kentucky. She was retired
from Florsheim where she worked in the factory and was a member of New Harmony
Baptist Church.
She is survived by brother, Arvis Nimmo of Benton, KY and sister, Lucille Henson of
Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Nimmo and Nettie (Collins) Nimmo,
husband, James Lewis Reeder, son, Louis Ray Reeder, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2016 at
New Harmony Cemetery, Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Jason Sharp officiating.
Interment will follow.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Friday, February 26,
2016, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
Memorial contributions may be given to the New Harmony Baptist Church, 4817 Symsonia
Hwy, Benton, KY 42025.
