If someone has told you lately to “go fly a kite”, this Saturday will be your day. Blair Travis with the City of Calvert joined us on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. She says Kites Over Calvert is Saturday from 1 ’til 3 at Doctor’s Park behind Calvert City Hall. She says the event is free and open to kids of all ages. Travis says just show up and get a free kite from the Calvert Area Development Association (CADA).
