Third Place Ministries is an organization sponsored by the Marshall County United Methodist Churches. Joining Cindy Riley on WCBL’s Coffee Call program recently and representing the organization was executive director Samantha Hall. Hall says Third Place Ministries has been helping people in the community since 1971. She says the ministry assists families in need with help paying utility bills. Third Place Ministries also operates the New to You Shop in Benton. The store, celebrating its 2 year anniversary in their new location, offers household items, books, clothes, shoes, formal wear and all the proceeds go back to support the ministry and the Marshall County community. The New to You Shop is located just off West 5th Street in Benton at 176 Beechwood Lane and is open 9 to 4 Thursday through Friday and Saturdays 9 to 2.
