Ruth Gaskill, age 90, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Ruth was born in Paducah, Kentucky on January 27, 1934 to the late Dorris Forrest Colvin and Ella V. Burnley Colvin. She was a member of First Christian Church of Paducah. Ruth had a love for traveling and had a special place in her heart for her cats.
Ruth is survived by a step-daughter, Kathleen Mahaley of Bandana, Kentucky; two nephews James Kreke of Paducah, Kentucky and Michael Kreke of Paducah, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gaskill; one daughter, Lilliam Cami Meacham; two sisters Dorothy Barlow and Martha Fields; one brother, James B. Colvin; one foster brother, Tom Calvert; and her parents.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Keith Tilford officiating. Burial will take place at Bethel Christian Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service time of 12:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
