Mrs. Betty Sue Potts Rule, age 90, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at her residence.
She was a member of Millers Chapel Baptist Church and a retired employee of Ingersoll Rand.
Mrs. Rule is survived by three sons, Colin (Jerri Ann) Rule of Mayfield, KY, Calvin Rule of Mayfield, KY and Cullen (Lisa) Rule of Dyersburg, TN; one brother, Arson Lee (Janet) Potts of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Rita (Jackie) Herndon of Mayfield, KY and Judy Carlisle of Kennet, MO; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arby Clay Rule; one brother, Hoy Potts; and her parents, Ed and Lavern Green Potts.
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Sue Potts Rule will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Billy Sizemore and Bro. Michael Rule will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers and her great grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
