
On Feb 23, 2024, at approximately 4:00am deputies were called to a residence on Lena Drive in Murray for a physical altercation. It was reported that Alexander Roulette had physically assaulted people in the household and was holding them against their will.
Upon deputies’ arrival they made contact with him inside the residence. Roulette would not comply with their requests and began physically resisting. Two more deputies arrived on scene and assisting in attempting to restrain him as he was actively fighting. Deputies employed the use of a taser which allowed Roulette to be taken into custody before any serious injuries were sustained by them or the suspect; though all persons involved sustained minor injuries.
Roulette was taken to MCCH to be checked and was released. He was also found to be in possession of illicit drugs. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility.

The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Marshall County man on drug charges following a traffic stop on Saturday afternoon.
On February 17th, 2024 at 4:45pm, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for numerous traffic violations on US Hwy 641 North near Radio Rd. The driver of the vehicle, 35-year-old James F. Shock, was observed by Deputies throwing illegal drugs out of the driver side window while attempting to pull over. While doing this, Shock nearly collided with several vehicles that were traveling in close proximity. Shock eventually pulled over and was detained. Deputies were able to locate the illegal items Shock tossed from the vehicle, which led to the seizure of over 80 Fentanyl laced pills.
During this investigation, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Deputies located a quantity of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Anabolic Steroids, $751.00 in cash believed to be proceeds of illegal drug trafficking, and several items related to Drug Paraphernalia.
Records show that Shock has an extensive criminal history involving trafficking methamphetamine along with numerous convictions for other felony related charges. Shock was just released from jail less than a month ago on supervised probation for Methamphetamine Trafficking charges in Livingston County and Felony Burglary charges in Marshall County.
Shock was placed under arrest and transported to the Calloway County Detention Center where he was lodged.
