Brenda Kelso Castleberry, age 68, of Cunningham, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at her home.
Mrs. Castleberry was born in Murray, Kentucky on May 5, 1955 to the late Robert and Rosalee Kelso. She retired after 27 years as a Registered Nurse with Murray-Calloway County Hospital. After retirement she had become a Yorkie breeder. Brenda loved riding horses and mules and had enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, Ray Castleberry, since 2014. She also enjoyed listening to Ray’s band “Borderline” and camping and fishing at Kentucky Lake. She was a member of Free Spirit Biker Church.
Brenda is survived by her husband of nine years, Ray Castleberry; her daughter, Kendra Kear of Clarksville, Tennessee; her son, Clint Kear (Aya) of San Antonio, Texas; her adopted son and daughter, Rick and Anita Conley of Indiana; one sister, Linda Coleman of Murray; three brothers, Jimmy Kelso (Karen) of Murray, Joe Kelso (Cynthia) of Murray and Ronnie Kelso of Murray; and four grandchildren, Kylee Conley, Jaxxon Conley, Kingston Conley and Cayden Kear.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosalee Kelso.
