Kenneth “Joe” Estes, age 78, of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2023 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Joe was born in Paducah on July 3, 1945 to Wilson and Mary Whitaker Estes Albritton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling; however, his kids and grandkids brought him the most joy. Joe was a jokester that enjoyed making others laugh but he always had compassion for others. He never met a stranger and was always there for those he loved and cared for. Joe was a loving father, friend and neighbor.
Joe is survived by one daughter, Jackie Hannon (Shane) of Paducah; one son, Jason Estes (April) of Kevil; his significant other, Susan Oates; one brother, Bob Estes; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Jenny Estes; one sister, Clara Mae Manley; two brothers, Walter Estes and Junior Estes; his black lab, YoYo; and his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rob Estes officiating.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
