Ann “Punkie” Guest Driver, 87, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Providence Pointe Healthcare in Paducah.

Punkie was born in Tampa, Florida on December 10, 1936 to the late Margaret and Benjamin Guest. Ann graduated from Augusta Tilghman High School and Draughon’s Business College. For more than four decades, she worked as an office manager for the Social Security Administration in Paducah, Kentucky, Charleston, South Carolina and several towns in her beloved Florida, eventually retiring from the Valrico, Florida field office.

Her culinary skills were quite minimal. However, as she always said, “I don’t have to know how to cook; I know how to order.” Punkie knew every good restaurant in the Tampa Bay area and enjoyed them all.

In addition to her late parents, Punkie was preceded in death by her cherished Boston Bull Terrier, Bonnie. She often explained to strangers, “I warned you she would bite.”

Punkie is survived by her daughter, Jane Driver and her son Hal (LaDonna) Driver, of Paducah. She will also be remembered, with much love, by her many cousins in Florida and across the South.

Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is handling the arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Expression of sympathy may take the form of donations to the McCracken County Humane Society, 4000 Coleman Road, Paducah, KY 42001 or any animal organization of your choice
