Chase Hill signs to play soccer at Webster University

Chase Hill signed on Tuesday to play soccer for Webster University. She was joined (L-R) by her brother Chance, and parents Mickey and Beth.

Lady Marshals soccer player Chase Hill signed on Tuesday to continue her soccer and academic career at Webster University in St. Louis, Mo. The Gorloks play in the St. Louis Interscholastic Athletic Conference.

Chase was a vital part of the Lady Marshals soccer team’s three district and regional championships during her high school career. She was selected to the All-Region Second Team her freshman and sophomore years. She was a difference-making defender for the Lady Marshals. Chase unfortunately missed significant time her junior and senior seasons due to injuries.

Her speed, quickness, crushing tackles and ability to read penetrating passes made life difficult for attacking opponents. She did not shy away from contact and consistently slowed down quality attackers.

Chase is a true student athlete, maintaining above a 4.0 grade point average and has given back to the community as a soccer referee and Miracle League buddy.

“We are excited that Chase will have the opportunity to continue her playing career as a Gorlok at Webster University next fall”, said Head Coach Michael Boone.

Celebrating with Chase at her signing were members of her family, coaches, the Lady Marshals soccer team and friends.
