Betty Richmond Harper, age 94, of Arlington, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at her home.
Mrs. Harper was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 13, 1929 to the late Ernest and Miriam Richmond. She was a homemaker and also read books at Lowes Elementary School in Graves County. She was a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Mayfield. Betty will be remembered as a great mom, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved gardening and enjoyed eating out.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Jeanatte Nink (Paul) of Middleville, Michigan; two sons, Chris Harper (Donna) of Milburn and Barry Harper Southfield, Michigan; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Franklin Harper; her parents; one son, Timothy Harper; and four brothers, Glen Richmond, Owen Richmond, Donald Richmond and Fredrick Richmond; and two grandchildren.
No services will be held at this time.
