Bill Ferguson, age 86, of Arlington, Kentucky, passed away at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
Bill was born in Hickman County, Kentucky, to the late James and Lillian Ferguson. Bill was a farmer and transmission technician. He was a member of Berkley Baptist Church and served as a Medic in the United States Army. Bill loved farming, hunting and guided for big game hunts in Utah. He collected railroad locks, loved ice cream and taking care of his children. He will be remembered as a friendly gentleman, who was a wonderful and kind listener, whom everyone loved.
Bill is survived by his wife of 33 years, Bee Jay Ferguson; three daughters, Kelly Castagnola of Nevada, Missouri, Lisa Ferguson of Clinton, Kentucky, and Laura Fry of Indiana; three grandchildren Chevy Ashbaker, and Dakota and Jake Kaumans; and two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Brynlea.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Petey Ferguson; and a granddaughter, Shaina Ashbaker.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Rev. Roger Wood officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
