Tony Heath Dunigan, 78, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at his home.
Tony was born on March 25, 1945 to the late Dilmer and Bernice Dunigan. He worked as a teacher for the Livingston County School District and he was a member of Briensburg Baptist Church. Tony enjoyed camping, mowing, and working in his garden. He was also a very talented woodworker and known for being quite the handyman building things for himself and others. More than anything else Tony loved spending time with all of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two sons, Tony Reed Dunigan (Kim) of Sharpe and Heath Dunigan (Leslie) of Benton; eleven grandchildren, Lindsey Howard, Whitney Morris, Mallory Langston, Brandon Morris, Laken Crouse, Keaton Dunigan, Addison Dunigan, Aiden Dunigan, Dalton Nelson, Mallory Doucet, and Shelby Yarbrough; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Dunigan; one daughter, Tina Morris; and his parents, Dilmer Ace Dunigan and Bernice Heath Dunigan.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday August 7, 2023 at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025.
