Richard Herbert Coe, 54, of Christiana, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House, Murray, KY.
Richard was born on April 8, 1969, in Hammond, IN, to John T. Coe and Ruth Marie Stumme Cripe Coe. He proudly served his country in the United States Army serving as a heavy equipment operator at Ft. Eustis, VA and in the 1st Gulf War. He then went to Ft. Campbell, KY where he became an Armorer and became involved with his life-long hobby- rifles and pistols. When living in Cadiz, KY, he was a volunteer fire fighter for several years. Moving to Christiana, TN, Ricard worked as a Generator Technician and CDL truck driver with Saunders Electric in Nashville, TN. He loved the travel and driving to new places and using his mechanical skills to the fullest – building, designing and repairing GenSets. It was his dream job. He was a loving father, son and brother and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by: Grandparents Herbert and Helen Coe, Grandparents Herman and Mary Stumme, his father, John T. Coe, Terrance Coe (brother), Jason Coe (nephew), and Nigel Cripe (nephew).
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ruth Cripe Coe nee Stumme of Murray, KY; son, Colton James Coe; siblings, Jay Coe (Kathy), Carol Stephenson (Mark), Jeff Coe (Debbie), Fritz Cripe, John Cripe (Debbie), Cherie Zerbst (Bill), Sandra Hakos (Michael), Janel Nierman (Michael).
