Hazel Leora Edwards, 93, of Benton, Kentucky passed away at 11:30AM, Monday, December 21, 2015 at her home.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, David Edwards of Golo, KY; two daughters, Linda Murray of Benton, KY, and Rita Kelso of Murray, KY; eight grandchildren, Gela Hamlet, Johnny Barrett, Becky Sledd, Jenny Sutherland, Mindy Fleet, Jason Kelso, Deanna Edwards and Danielle Edwards, twelve great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, two sisters, Irma Howard of Calvert City, KY and Nancy Crook of Knoxville, TN and two brothers, Jim Henson of Benton, KY and Dennis Henson of Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Edwards, one daughter, Beverly Barrett, one sister, Florence Wyatt and one brother, Robert Henson. Her parents were, Gilbert Henson and Mary Holland Henson.
Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Thweatt will officiate and burial will follow in the Benton Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:00PM Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
