Miss Dorothy Sue Adams, age 91, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Green Acres Health Care in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of High Point Baptist Church for over 80 years, a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, a member of Senior Friends and a retired employee of the State of Kentucky.
Miss Adams is survived by four nephews, Kent (Norita) Youngblood, David (Jayna) Jackson, Farrell (Karen) Cox and Michael Cox; three nieces, Emily (Ed) Burge, Melinda Houts and Tammy (Mac) McClanahan; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Lurley Youngblood, Katie Cash, Charlene Jackson and Iva Cox; three half sisters; two half brothers; two nieces, Nancy McGuire and Julia Owen; and her parents, John R. and Iva Golda Richmond Adams.
Graveside services for Miss Dorothy Sue Adams will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Little Obion Cemetery. Blake Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
