Frederick “Fred” Dean Hicks, 46 of Benton, KY died on Monday, December 14, 2015, at his home. He was a self employed Carpet and Tile Layer.
Born Monday, April 28, 1969 in Solomons, Maryland, he was the son of the late Margaret Jean (Riley) “Peggy” Hicks.
Surviving are his father, James Howell Hicks Sr. and step-mother, Ellen (Pratt) Hicks of Benton, KY; brother, James H. Hicks, Jr. of Revere, MA, sister, Peggy Jean Greenough, husband David of Jaffrey, NH; and several nephews.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Max Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Hicks Cemetery, Murray, KY. Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
