Ricky Lee Powell, 69, of Benton, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Marshall Co. Hospital E. R. in Benton, Kentucky.
Born Friday, May 15, 1953 in Murray, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Loman Powell and Dixie (Harrison) Powell. He was retired from Maintenance at CCMA in Calvert City, KY. He was a 41 year Masonic Member of the Briensburg-TL Jefferson Lodge #401 and a member of Oak Level Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Anita (Conner) Powell; mother, Dixie (Harrison) Powell of Benton, KY; son, Ruble Powell (Daysha) of Benton, KY; daughters, Chastidy Smiddy (Shane) of Benton, KY, Heather Wyatt (Chris) of Benton, KY and Allison Powell of Benton, KY; brothers, David Powell (Connie) of Benton, KY and Jerry Powell (Monica) of Benton, KY; father-in-law, Joe Conner; grandchildren, J.T. Powell (Tiara), Josey Robinson (Hunter), Kolton Powell and Casen Wyatt; and great-grandchildren, Grady Powell and Sadie Rae Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his father and his mother-in-law Joetta (Holt) Conner.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday September 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Pruitt and Rev. Kendrick Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Middle Fork Cemetery. Masonic Rites will be at 2:00 pm before the service. Visitation will be Saturday September 24, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm at Collier Funeral Home.
