
Earning their second shutout of the season, the Lady Marshals beat Graves County 6-0 on Tuesday at Colburn Stadium and improve to 4-0.
Kelsey Crass scored her fourth goal of the season with the first one of the game just six minutes in, then picked up number five of the season four minutes later to give the Lady Marshals a 2-0 lead. Assists went to Mia Teague on the first goal and Anna Robertson on the second.
Zoe Maxlow off an assist from Abby Bevil made it a 3-0 game followed by goals from Janie Pagel and Anna Robertson off a Crass assist for a 5-0 halftime lead. The final Lady Marshals goal in the second half was scored by Robertson with the assist going to Pagel. The goal was Robertson’s fifth of the early season.
Phoebe Ramsey and Parker Perry each had one save to secure the shutout.
They will head to Calloway County on Thursday to play a district double-header with the Marshals.
