On July 27, 2022 at approximately 7:46 am the Calloway County Communications Center received a report of a suspicious vehicle on Bakers Crossroad. Upon arrival, deputies recognized the vehicle as belonging to the wanted felon Ronnie Sharp. Through information received, it was verified that Ronnie Sharp was in the area and additional deputies from both Calloway and Henry County responded to assist. Calloway County Fire Rescue also responded with their drone. Mr. Sharp was located on Brandon Road on a 4-wheeler and a pursuit ensued. Sharp wrecked the 4-wheeler just inside Tennessee and forced entry into a residence in an attempt to elude law enforcement, where he was taken into custody. Additional charges are pending in both Calloway County and Henry County Tennessee.
This brings the end to an approximately two-week manhunt that resulted in numerous pursuits, several stolen vehicles and multiple charges. Sheriff Knight would like to give thanks and recognition to everyone for their dedication and determination in serving the public which resulted in the capture of a dangerous felon, who was wanted in Calloway County on the following charges:

Possession of Handgun by a Convicted Felon 2 counts,
No Operator’s License
No Registration Receipt
No Registration Plates
Failure to Produce Insurance Card
Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance
Bail Jumping 1st Degree

Improper Registration Plate 3 Counts
No Registration Plate 2 Counts
No Operator’s License
Fleeing and Evading 1st Degree 2 Counts
Disregarding Stop Sign 3 Counts

Marshall County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of Ronnie Sharp. All information given to Crime Stoppers remains anonymous by calling 270-527-COPS.

Sheriff Requests Public Assistance Finding Dangerous Fugitive
fugitive Ronnie Sharp. Sharp is wanted in connection with a March 17, 2022 vehicle pursuit in Calloway County, where a warrant of arrest was issued for 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading Police, 3 counts of 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief, and various other traffic related offenses.
Sharp is also wanted for Failure to Appear while out on bond for a 2022 Calloway County felony case where he is charged with Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and various traffic related offenses. Sharp has also been charged with 1st Degree Bail Jumping in that pending case.
Sharp is also wanted in Marshall County for Failure to Appear on a pending case.
On March 28, 2022, the Parole Board also issued a Parole Violation Warrant for Sharp.
Sharp is also wanted in connection with a theft in Henry County Tennessee.
Ronnie Sharp is a 47-year-old white male, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing approximately 145 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
