(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) – Marshall County boys golf opened its 2026 season with a strong week, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Spartan Clash and another third-place showing at their home invitational.
The Marshals, under new Head Coach Devin Belt, began the season Monday at Park Mammoth Golf Club in Edmonson, where they placed third as a team in the Spartan Clash. Paxton Carter turned in the individual highlight of the day, tying for first place before falling in a playoff.
Marshall County was back in action Tuesday morning, hosting the Marshall County Invitational at Calvert City Country Club. The Marshals again finished third, posting a team score of 323.
