Driver Crashes Into McCracken County Home After Medical Episode

(McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky.) — A Calvert City man is recovering after a single-vehicle crash sent his car airborne and into a residence near Benton Road on Friday morning.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Benton Road and Grogan Circle at approximately 11:13 a.m. Friday, June 19, after reports of a collision with injuries.

According to a preliminary investigation, Gary Bradley of Calvert City was driving south on Benton Road when he suffered a medical episode behind the wheel, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.

The car then cut through multiple parking lots before becoming airborne as it crossed Grogan Circle, ultimately striking a nearby house.

Bradley was taken to a local hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Reidland Farley Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, and Stinnett’s Towing.
