(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.)-Break Time Bar & Grill in Benton, Kentucky has partnered with the Humane Society of Marshall County in a campaign asking residents to donate critical supplies to local animals in need. The effort, running now through the end of May, aims to restock the shelter with food, medical funds, and comfort items for cats and dogs in their care.
Break Time Bar & Grill owner Harold Dick said, “Let’s fill it up. Show out. Prove what this community is made of.”
The drive comes at a time when animal shelters across the region continue to face resource shortfalls. The Humane Society is especially low on veterinary funds and basic provisions, and are calling on the broader community to step up in a meaningful way.
The most critically needed items include veterinary funds, clumping cat litter, Purina kitten food, and Purina One dry food. Comfort and enrichment items — such as cat toys, dog toys, and rawhide-free chews — are also being collected to help keep sheltered animals happy and stimulated while they await adoption.

Break Time Bar & Grill is serving as the sole drop-off location for the campaign, making it easy for patrons and passersby alike to contribute.Break Time is locatedin Draffenville and welcomes donations during regular business hours.
Community members who cannot drop off in person are encouraged to share the campaign on social media to help spread awareness. Break Time is asking everyone to donate, share, and show love.
